Just in case you haven’t seen this gadget, I’d like to introduce you to one of my favorite gadgets — one that I fell in love with from the moment I first saw it — The Franklin Electronic Bible. How I Learned About The Franklin Electronic Bible
The way I learned about the Franklin Electronic Bible is actually quite interesting, since I’m always surfing the net for great items. It eludes me how I could have totally let this one get by me, but it did. Until one Sunday afternoon, my friend Mary stopped by my place to tell me about a little hand-held gadget that her husband James had spotted while in church earlier that day.
James had spotted another person in church using an interesting-looking hand-held device, and just out of curiosity, had asked him what the device was. After James learned that it was an electronic bible, his curiosity was even more aroused, and he had asked Mary to see if I could find one on the internet. At that point, James was just wanting to find out more about the device, and see how much one would cost… He liked the idea of a pocket-sized gadget that was light-weight, easy to transport, and that could access so much information so quickly. So, Mary and I sat down to the computer, and started to search for electronic bibles, and sure enough, we were able to find the Franklin Electronic Bibles at several locations on the internet.
I printed a photo of the device, and found some of its interesting features, and printed them for Mary to give to James.
Later in the week, she returned — this time with James — so he could take a closer look at the Electronic Bible. Together, we scoured the web, looking at the model shown here along with several other models, finally deciding that this one (BIB 475) was the one that suited him the best.
Compared to some of the other models available, James liked the size of the screen, and the functionality, in addition to the two versions of the bible being included with the Franklin Electronic Bible.
After doing a lot of comparing online, we came to the conclusion that the very best buy was available on Amazon.com. So, I immediately placed the order online for James. Sure enough, in 2 to 3 days, James electronic bible arrived, to his delight. Mary brought it by so I could see it, and play with it. I found it to be a delightful device, sure to enhance the bible-reading pleasure of bible-lovers everywhere!
It was very easy to use, and control, using the keyboard and control keys.

The majority of the customer reviews for this device have been very positive with the exception of one or two who had problems with the device, that was later resolved after exchanging the defective one for a new one.
How The Franklin Electronic Bible Looks When Open
When open, the Franklin Electronic bible resembles a micro-mini-laptop computer. It actually opens out like a notebook, and can rest on the key-board while the screen stands upright.
This allows easy access to its keyboard controls. I have no doubt in my mind that James will enjoy his Franklin Electronic Bible. And since I got a chance to play around with it, and learn how easily it operates, I can’t wait to get mine!
